Jan Beukenberg is a multi instrumentalist, playing string instruments both acoustic and electric from the age of 12. He played piano from the age of 10 as a second instrument.
He developed his fingerstyle driven approach mainly
influenced by Piedmont and Delta Blues Guitarrist as Brownie Mc Ghee, Reverend Gary Davis or modern artists as Eric Bibb. He also loves Jazz influenced stuff as Joe Pass, Birelli Lagrene and Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau on piano.
On occasion, Jan Beukenberg is booked for session, live gigs and studio work on his instruments and travelled North America for music purpose several times.
